Our History
Built From the Ground Up
Maine Harvest Farms didn't begin as rolling pasture. It started as raw southern Maine land — wooded, rocky, and far from "farm ready."
We cleared sections by hand, thinned forests, milled and reused trees for fencing, and built growing beds from scratch. Every pasture, every fence line, and every field has been shaped through hard work and steady progress.
It hasn't been easy — but we're proud of the ground we've gained.
Because we've shaped this farm ourselves, we've been able to do it the right way from the start. We rotate our animals, improve the soil over time, and work toward a system that strengthens the land instead of wearing it down.
Our livestock are raised outdoors, given room to move, and cared for properly — period.
As we've grown, we've partnered with other Maine farmers who believe in raising food honestly and responsibly. That allows us to bring more high-quality Maine meat and produce to your table while supporting local agriculture.
The name Maine Harvest Farms reflects what we're working toward — building a trusted local source for food raised right here in Maine.

Regenerative Farming
Our Practices
We raise our animals outdoors on real Maine land — woods, hills, grass, and all.
Our cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and turkeys are moved regularly so they always have fresh ground to graze and explore. We don't force the land to fit a factory model. We work with what we have.
Giving animals space to move and land time to rest keeps things healthy — naturally.
